Join Secret Garden Birds and Bees at the Walker Nature Center for this year's Owl Prowl. Our barred owl, Scarlett, great horned owl, Hodor, screech owl, Kvosir, and barn owl, Olive will help us tell you all about the owls living right in your neighborhood. We'll even give you hints on how to find them!  After the talk, you can take a walk with a naturalist to find owls in the wild. In 2022, we played a barred owl call and a wild owl responded. Then our barred owl, Scarlett, called back. That started a chorus of barred owl calls from all directions. There are definitely owls - at least barred owls - to be found around the Walker Nature Center!

THIS EVENT IS HOSTED BY THE WALKER NATURE CENTER. TICKETS ARE REQUIRED and sell out fast. For more information, call the Nature Center at (703) 476-9689. To buy tickets, go to Walker Nature Center and click on "Event".
